Mac and cheese is a traditional cuisine that people of all ages love. There are numerous ways to prepare mac and cheese, but the typical baked mac and cheese recipe is among the easiest and most scrumptious.
INGREDIENTS :
- 3 cups of elbow macaroni
- Quarter cup of salted butter
- Two twelve-ounce cans of evaporated milk
- Half cup milk
- Two large eggs
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Paprika to sprinkle
- Ground black pepper to taste
- 6 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
DIRECTIONS :
1. Start by boiling water in a big-sized pot. Add macaroni and salt in it and cook until it’s done.
2. Drain the macaroni and put back in pot.
3. Melt the butter in a saucepan on slow heat. Keep it aside.
4. In a big bowl, stir together milk, evaporated milk, salt, black pepper, butter and eggs until fully combined.
5. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray a big baking pan with oil.
6. Start layering macaroni and then cheese on top in the baking pan. Keep layering until done.
7. Pour the prepared milk mixture on top covering it.
8. Sprinkle paprika over it and bake for half hour in oven.
9. Take out for cooling.
Delicious Mac and cheese is ready to be served.
